  • Commonwealth Museum
    This is the state museum of Massachusetts’ history and its people. Under the care and
    custody of the Secretary of State, it uses collections and cultural resources. Dynamic
    exhibits and educational experiences have been created to impart Massachusetts’ unique
    and exciting history. Located directly across from the John F. Kennedy Library Museum
    and the Museum of Boston’s Columbia Point.

  • Old Ironsides: USS Constitution Museum
    This museum provides options for classroom use such as the award winning “All Hands On Deck” theme unit. This unit integrates geography, history, language arts, science, math and the arts in lessons appropriate fro grades 3-12. Teacher workshops and guided tours of the USS Constitution are available.
  • Old South Meeting House
    A museum and historic site. From the historic December 16, 1773 meeting of 5000 colonists which led to the Boston Tea Party to the present day, this has been an active gathering place for discussion, celebration and exercising free speech. Check the calendar for monthly events, discussions, and concerts.
