    Note on Country Name

The government of Burma changed the country's name to "Union of Myanmar" in 1989. The United Nations now recognizes the country as Myanmar, but the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada still recognize it as Burma. Media outlets in the United States are divided as to how they refer to the country. Here we use both based on the sources of information.
